Secure your future in Canada. A comprehensive guide to obtaining and maintaining your PGWP (IMM 5710).

Status: Open Work Permit
The PGWP is an Open Work Permit. You can work for almost any employer anywhere in Canada, full-time or part-time, without a job offer or LMIA.

You may start working full-time while waiting for your decision (with conditions).
The 180-Day Rule
Missing this deadline is the #1 cause of refusals. Check your graduation date meticulously.
Status Gap
Don't let your permit expire before submission. Result: Immediate loss of work eligibility.
Unofficial Transcript
IRCC requires official proof. Screenshoots of online portals usually result in refusal.
Part-Time Semester
Falling below full-time course load (except for final semester) can disqualify you.
